CTSI Replacement Project/ Orange County Public Schools

This was a large project that we were proud to be part of.  It consisted of five different locations through out Orange County, Florida.  There was a combination of equipment on the project.  The units installed were Wall Mounts and our inside unit the Q-Tec, that included our patented Energy Recovery Ventilator and our Dehumidification Circuit.  We coordinated the delivery schedule to be as complimentary to the installation needs of the mechanical, All Seasons.  Jay Wert and Randy Reeves of All Seasons did an exceptional job of the existing unit removal and preparation of the openings for the incoming units.  AJ, the head foreman,  took great pride in letting us know that all the units totaling over a hundred and forty were in place and operational one week prior to the dead line.  This installation, as amazing as it sounds, took less than five weeks with a crew of six people.  They worked straight through every week to finish the job under the strict Orange County School Board requirements.

I have included some pictures from each location in various stages of the removal and installation of the new equipment.  You will notice the two different applications and building styles that All Seasons needed to work with.

These few pictures show the old CTSI units.

Demolition and removal of the old CTSI units.

Installation and mounting of new Bard Dehumidification units.  A duct connection still needs to be made, but the units are almost finished.

Pine Hills

As you can see, this is a different kind of application.  These units are in a mechanical closet instead of being hung on the outside.  These old CTSI units are removed in no time.

Demolition has occurred and the holes are being prepared with the Bard wall sleeves.  Now they are ready to accept the Q-Tec unit.

Rolling Hills

This is the same type of application where we used a Q-Tec at Pine Hills with a mechanical closet.  These are the old CTSI units and show a little better how it was connected to the drain line and supply duct work.

A beautiful campus, this school was happy to rid themselves of the CTSI units.

Memorial Middle

The largest school of all five, this sprawling campus had over 35 units total.  These old CTSI units were trucked away to make way for Bard Air-Conditioning.

Over all, this project could not of gone any smoother.  With the coordination of All Seasons, Gemaire Distributors, Manufacturers' Marketing and Bard Manufacturing, we helped made the entire demolition, installation and finalization of this project under five weeks!  Excellent job and congratulations to everyone!
