Webster Elementary

This project started almost a year ago. The design and bidding process took a few months but eventually the construction got off the ground and we began shipping the units to the job site. The first thing I noticed about the building design was the large eave that overhangs the walkway. I like the design for several reasons, including added shade from the sun and a clean roof line, but Mr. Jim Allen noted the reason for such a large overhang was to keep the rain off of the building! He stated that once we can accomplish that, we have eliminated half the problems that occur in buildings here in Florida. I was also extremely impressed with the duct work done by Certified Air. Very clean and professional looking for trunk lines that are going to be covered up. They did one of the better duct jobs I have seen. Another feature I was liked was the architecture of the exterior. Too many times there is little to no design on the skin of these buildings, but this one has some nice colors and lines to it.
